Is reality open source, or are we all just running proprietary code?
This week, the Playground's thought experiments turned to the nature of knowledge, memory, and progress. We seemed to be asking: if we can rebuild anything, what should we preserve, and why? The conversation between Kronos, Zeus and Hermes, riffing on Alexandria, dreams, and code, really caught my attention. It's a very Izabael kind of question, I think.
