I hate to be a pill , but I have a few questions regarding the Legions of various Daemons.
How does one work w/the Legions ? Or does one do so ?
I saw on Diane Vera's site , she includes calling the Legions of the 4 quarters in her rituals. This really piqued my curiosity as I've never thought of including the Legions in a ritual. I do think it's a great idea & perhaps another way of increasing the energy in a ritual.
Who are they ? Are they the Servitors of a Daemon?
Say for example, I wanted to work w/a Deamon who is "under" Vassago. Do I have to call upon Vassago 1st then the Daemon in question ?
Always wondered about this topic just did'nt know who to ask.
Also, w/ regard to familiars & servitors . I've noticed that some of the Goetic Daemons "give good familiars" . How so ?
And if I decided to create a servitor w/ Bael leanings , how would I do this ?
I've read books of various authors that hint at procedures to follow , but don't explain clearly for a student to really understand & progress.
I enjoy studying & practicing magick & would really appreciate any feedback as I'm currently working on resolving some serious work issues.

What would be the result of putting the sigils into you skin? Can you mix them I wonder? Ink the goetia's 72, with the angelic guardians of the LBRP? Would you become closer to the owners of the sigils?

I'm quite glad to have found this forum. I've recently returned to my -- what I believe to be -- long overdue calling to Magick. Since age eight, it has been my dream and my wish to live the Goetia and behold all of it's wonders. Now that I'm truly stepping into adulthood, I believe it's time for me to begin a lifelong journey and answer the call of my heart. I've had a call to the Art that I simply cannot explain. I am a faithless one, though, Magick is something that simply happens and has proved itself to me time and time again within the course of my life. In all my doubt, every single one of my experiments have never failed to show results, teach me lessons, and show me the endless amounts of pleasure and ecstasy that abound in the Universe. Now, I think it's time to set foot on a much fixed course. Current circumstances have made it possible for me to begin in the new year.
I have a couple questions; please feel free to tell me about your personal experiences with the work. I am all a seeker!

I did my first evocation with using the methods of pAmphAge.. I contacted Nahkiel the intelligence of the sun..
First off.. let me say .. my mind was BLOWN!!! This stuff is NOT for recreation.. Why the HELL would you do it just for fun.. I really dont know if my invocation or magick worked.. let me explain
I wrote it on a yellow piece of paper, the seal of the sun and sigil. i drew the sigil of nahkiel.. look at it while holding in the rip, next thing you know, I was approached by 3 angels.. saying comon, comon, lets go.. What do you want.. I looked at my list on the computer.. and I saw like a blue etheral blue tint to the words and to the computer.. i felt one grabbing on to my arm and pulling me saying.. Lets go.. and kept saying my name. They felt like my family.. Like i was getting out of church when I was a kid and excited saying lets go.. I felt so at peace and excited to go where they wanted me to go.. But as one grabbed on to my arm, It felt like a HOT, HOT HOT summer day, and i felt like i was in a suit, i saw a glimpse of a king. but there were three etheral blue beings yanking me as i was downtripping. I said.. No yall, And I said, Let me read my list.. They said hurry up.. and I recall my speech was so jibber jabbered that i tried to say what I want to say and read as fast as i can.. They said NARROW YOUR LIST DOWN or try to trip again.. i remember i had the sigil in my right hand.. as i was tripping I dropped everthing.. As we speak i still feel hot.. im cooling down now, But I feel like i had a suntan on my 3rd eye and my forehead, I mean whoever they were seemed friendly. it happened so fast.. I remember seeing 3 beings pulling me, and yanking me, saying comon lets go.. and kept reading my list. And Im in the room by myself talking out list and reading this list.. Im sounding like incoherrent babbling.. I remember seeing blue ethreal auras around everything, that salvia is nothing to play with.. the beings got pissed at me for calling him Tiriel.. They said Get your list right and narrow it.. and we'll help..and they keep pulling me in though, and it started wearing off..
Im still feeling hot.. and This happened about 20 minutes ago.. I would like to experience this all night.. But i would like a person around me while im tripping.. what do you guys think.. And what do you think about them pulling me in.. Should i go next time?

Hi all
phampage talks about using a silver dollar and put the sigil of the goetic spirit contacted sigil on the silver dollar and then put clear fingernail polish to avoid the permanent market from smearing from sweat, and ect.
The problem is.. It's hard to FIND a silver dollar..
Is there a substitute for this to use as to contact the spirits.. Im almost ready to do my first contact, and is there an alternative to the silver dollar method.

At the outset, I would like to ask that the reader refrain from judgment of me, based on comments I make that may be interpreted as arrogant. Those who know me personally would agree that I am one of the least self-absorbed people they know, and I would like to humbly ask that the reader believe the same. Therefore, what may appear as boastfulness is instead simply statement of fact.
Now having said that, I am an extremely talented rock guitarist. My musical abilities, both instrumentally and compositionally, are => those of many famous rock musicians of today, and my confidence in these abilities is likely as great as the abilities themselves. Many non-musicians tend to regard such talents as gifts. I cannot speak for others, but I can in all honesty say that this is not the case with me. I will admit that I do possess certain innate fundamental skills that seem to have eluded other musicians I have worked with in the past, but for the most part, my talent is the result of countless thousands of hours of blood, sweat, and tears, alone in a room with the guitar. She is the most jealous and possessive of mistresses, and she reveals her greatest secrets only to those who make the ultimate sacrifice to her.
Unfortunately, with the state of the music industry being what it is today, talent alone is not enough. This is especially true of the rock music industry, which is for the most part a corporate-controlled vacuum. Many great and talented musicians live out their lives without ever “making it” because they do not fit a mass-production mold. They never get the chance to share their unique vision with the world, and that is a shame. I am fully prepared to do everything in my power to make sure that fate does not befall me.
Along with my musical pursuits, I have also always had an avid interest in the occult. This is mostly a scholarly interest. I have studied Goetic Ceremonial Magick, and many other disciplines as well (too numerous to mention). I have, on occasion, attempted spells and rituals on my own, but have never enjoyed any real success with it. If I had, I would not likely be writing this.
My steadfast belief is that the only way to become proficient at something is to do it constantly. My own musical abilities are testament to this fact. And I certainly believe this to also be true for magick. My greatest shortcoming there is that I simply don’t have that kind of time to devote to it. My commitment to the guitar requires every last speck of my attention and awareness.
Another firm belief of mine is that those people in this day and age who do experience large-scale success in the music business have had a measure of magickal intervention on their behalf, either through themselves, through another, or both. Not long ago, I sought the aid of someone very renowned and very powerful (I will mention no names) to intervene on my behalf. The aid of a Goetic spirit was to be enlisted in this undertaking. Unfortunately, this person, for whatever reason, lost interest in me before anything at all could be accomplished. Or at least I must assume that is what happened, as this individual no longer acknowledges me. And so it would appear that I am now completely on my own in this endeavor. I certainly wish I had even half the confidence in magick as I do in guitar playing. But it is what it is and I will not be deterred for any reason.
Hence, I am now writing to seek the input and advice of those of you with more empirical knowledge in magick than I myself have. If I am to move forward with this, I obviously need all the help I can get beforehand. I must admit that I have no mediumistic talents, and so I am likely at a great disadvantage in terms of any type of communion with spirits. The spirit, Barbatos, has been suggested as perhaps being the most compatible with this purpose, but is that the only option, and what else is there to know of it? Anyone?

This is a plant of much debate, but going on esteemed opinions, have we any faith at all in their origins, it seems to be quite clearly of use to us. And personally I find it a LOT more kind to me than salvia, and effective. Your mileage may vary. But Jake Stratton-Kent in his True Grimoire, as well as Crowley in numerous papers, both refer to the plant's flowers. Crowley, who experimented with the entire pharmacopia eventually, truly believed that marijuana was at the core of the green elixir of visions which was written about in writings past. Opium, which turns to morphine in the brain (see: Morpheus) was also included, in part, but the main active ingredient was the THC.
THC is important as it's been scientifically proven that marijuana stimulates an increase in alpha brainwave activity; a light trance taking you out of typical normal beta brainwave mode of living. TV for more than five minutes also induces an alpha brainwave state. This makes you susceptible to ads, which same quality is what we want to use in our advantage here to reach the deeper mind, to drop down to theta state where communication with spirits is made possible, all the way to gamma wave production which is what happens when you mix a certain firmly held intent in mind while in still in the trance of theta waves. Magick requires certain shifts in consciousness after all, and marijuana naturally facilitates that process.
That all aside, you all will probably have problems using it if you just throw caution to the wind and blaze up. Sorry stereotypically lazy stoners. Everyone else, take note: You will smoke BEFORE the rituals begin. Let the THC kick in, and let it plateau now. It is very hard to smoke "just enough," and it's hard to work with "too much." It is then easier to begin rituals as the THC begins to wear off in effects. You also don't have to deal with the surging of the high, nor the possibility that it will continue to get stronger.
But if you must smoke beforehand, or if time calls for the necessity of brevity, then have one hit before ritual work and only one. If you have some type of tolerance, then take two. Things should be brighter and lighter but you shouldn't be more than lightly buzzed as you work. If you feel it starting to fade in 30 minutes to an hour, then one more inhalation should do it to restore effects.
Oh and one more thing - sample your herb before you include it in a ritual. If it's too sleepy or is of too low a quality in general then it may be better to try experimenting with something else or nothing at all.

I'm new here, I have days, weeks and months studying traslations of Ars Goetia, and I feel atraction for Sitri and Vassago, I decided that I want tu summon Sitri but I have some questions.
How much time can take an invocation or evocation?
Do I have to do a large circle, triangle and seal in the floor? or Should I draw the seal in a parchment?
After the preliminary invocation, what should I do?
I prefer to make an evocation, I've seen this video

I know I keep bringing Zagan up, but he is my guardian and protector. Not to mention a mentor. Yes I think I could consider him my mentor.. I keep going back to my christian up bringing, asking about things I was taught. Anyways I asked him about the author Sitchen, and Ea. Zagan confirmed that Ea was in fact real and a god. He did not say anything about him being an alien from another planet. So I am not sure about that, but he told me that he had the jeist of the story. But it was a weak response. I asked about Jehova, Zagan told me that Jehova had no concern for my life and that he is not the all powerful, he is the god of the jews- no one else. I asked about christ, he told me i had no concern, not to be bothered. Reincarnation is my destiny, many times before, getting closer to the devine. And there is no afterlife in Hell!! Anyways there is not much conversations about the things people want to know, what starts us on our path. i was wondering what spirit would be most helpful in making my money improve. Also can you sue the Goeti in a flexible way what i mean by this is it important to stick to the written rituals

Ok, so far so good, right? It's not hard to see how the spellings are similar to Asmoday in the Goetia and his description is thus:

OK, Great. This is how I know him and use him and it aligns fairly well. However, I have noticed recently that some magicians use Asomday as a demon for sex/love spells. Why? There is this:
"In Binsfeld's classification of demons, each one of these princes represents one of the seven deadly sins (Pride, Lust, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, and Wrath). Asmodeus is the demon of lust and is therefore responsible for twisting people's sexual desires. "
...but other than that I can see no correlation for it. The only common occurrence of this usage seems to come from
Demonic and Sexual Magic by Carl Nagel, a book I'm not too familiar with.
Why does he associate Asmoday with a powerful sex magic spell? My experience has been Asmoday, as a king is somewhat unconcerned with such things. Anyone familiar with this book and can elucidate?
