Sweep me under the 4.1 carpet PLZ!

  • Posted on November 21, 2010 at 10:00 pm
All of the guidelines concerning what is worthy of infraction have their basis in reason, but they are just so... Intimidating. Examples below...
What if I want to post a thread about the Thule society, before and after its Nazi afflictions? Is that too much like hate propoganda?
What if I call someone an attentionwhore (as many have called me)?
I wanna know how to cause sezures for self defense, or to send animated dolls to assassinate people who call me an attention whore or write stupid laws. If a member tells me how and it involves unholy water from a slain pig foetus, is that punishable? Even if it's in a genuine, 200+y/o talking book?
And am I reprehensible for asking the question?
Remember that thread where one guy wanted to know how to make his friend (sure) better endowed? Will it be erased? I can't tell people how to fire off sigils TOPY style with OV?

Good people of ov thee C0RPVS (staff too)-- you are called to crush this regime ov TERROR before it starts. This is an era of information and expression, not of ignorance and diplomatic asphyxophelia. We must BREATHE! Breathe in the pollen and dander of everyobody and his mom's two cents, and spread our two cents like a pestilence accross the world!
Frankly, a frank and enlightening place is the place I want to visit, as well as the vast majority of the cookie-infested public.

Slow forum

  • Posted on November 8, 2010 at 3:45 pm
I don't know if it's just me, but ever since the new Occult Corpus design, things have been VERY slow. I tried different places, different computers, and different OS's.

Has anyone else have this problem? Sometimes it takes a few minutes just to load a page. The fastest I've seen the website go is a 15 second loading time. I always have another website up because I know I have to wait for a long time.

I don't mean to be a big complainer, but I am a fairly impatient person :p

Why do we lose so many new members so quickly?

  • Posted on October 31, 2010 at 4:27 pm
Hi all,

One thing I've always wondered is why so many people post an intro thread and then disappear, never to be heard from again. Why do we seemingly lose so many new members so quickly? I'm hoping some of the newer members may know, like if its because people are scared to have their ideas debated, if they feel like they don't have anything to contribute, or if there's something missing here that's needed in order to generate more traffic from new people?

Chat not working?

The chat link gives me a blank page now. Is it just me, or is this another result of the "update"

Is there Anyway to Change Skins?

  • Posted on October 22, 2010 at 7:22 pm
I find the formatting of this new update to be obnoxious. It's large, confusing, and uninformative. Is there a way to go back to a similar skin from the last update?

Community Drop Menu

  • Posted on September 24, 2010 at 1:20 pm
I wanted to point out something that may be unnoticed at the moment. The community drop menu is missing from most of the skin choices. I noticed that when I changed over to the white skin to be able to see the amazon store and 8ball and wanted to let you know and see if we might be able to add those into the rest of the skins.
